We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional teacher to join our successful science department at Newfield School on a part-time basis. 

 

Newfield School is part of Mercia Learning Trust, one of the most successful Trusts in the Yorkshire and Humber region, changes the lives of over 3000 children and young people in Sheffield and is continuing to grow.

You will have the ability to inspire and engage students using your knowledge and enthusiasm of the subjects. Imaginative and committed, you will have a proven track record of success and high expectations of our students. 

 

You will be:

 

  • Able to demonstrate and deliver excellent teaching
  • Someone with a clear vision in how to develop students with an impact on achievement.
  • A good understanding of how to track student progress and make appropriate interventions to improve standards.

About Newfield Secondary School

Newfield School is a mainstream, co-educational, secondary academy for children aged 11-16. It is situated in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, and there are approximately 1050 pupils on its roll.

Newfield School is part of Mercia Learning Trust, a successful multi-academy trust partnership of schools in the south of Sheffield. One of the benefits of our partnership is that all Newfield students are guaranteed a place in the Sixth Form at King Ecgbert School, if they wish, providing they meet the entry requirements for their chosen courses.
