You are invited to apply to join our successful multicultural four form entry school for girls aged 11 – 16 which was graded “Good” by Ofsted in October 2019.
We are looking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational individual to work alongside within our Science Department from January 2025. The ideal candidate will strive to raise attainment through high expectations and high challenge. You should be a well-qualified and experienced graduate Science teacher who has the inspiration and enthusiasm to succeed. About Connaught School for Girls
Connaught School for Girls is a girls' secondary school situated in Leytonstone, London. It educates around 600 girls between the ages of 11 and 16. In February 2013 the school became an academy.
The first school on the Connaught Road site was a temporary mixed school which opened in 1900. After several reinventions, it became a community secondary comprehensive school for girls in the 1970s.
Connaught School for Girls has been was a specialist Languages school for over ten years and has a thriving MFL department teaching - French and Spanish. All pupils study two languages during their first three years many will study two languages at GCSE by either taking GCSE French in years 10, and an additional GCSE language in year 11.
