Job overview

Junior Leidschenveen (JSL) is looking to appoint an exceptional Physical Education practitioner from September 2019 This is an exciting opportunity to work together with a newly appointed Head of PE, to further develop our sports provision for both Junior and Senior Schools as well as working in collaboration with the Physical Education teams across the BSN. Our vision is to create a highly successful and cohesive 3-18 PE team and curriculum on the Leidschenveen site.

Junior School Leidschenveen is an established, outstanding 3-11 campus whilst Senior School Leidschenveen (SSL) will be entering its second year of existence with about 100 students in Years 7 & 8, ultimately growing to provide education until 18.

The successful candidate will be an experienced PE teacher who enjoys working collaboratively and is enthusiastic about supporting the wider BSN school activities. Experience in coaching gymnastics to support the BSN competitive level Gymnastics Team would be an advantage.

Initially the majority of teaching will be based around Yrs 1-6 (as well as providing support and advice for the Early Years teams) but there may be opportunities to develop in the senior school (SSL) as the school grows.
