Job overview

We are looking to appoint a committed and aspirational Class Teacher at South Orpington Learning Alliance (SOLA) Multi-Academy Trust to strengthen and complement our existing team, so that we can provide an even better education for the children in our care. This role would suit both Early Career Teachers and experienced Teachers.

‘Our vision is for every child in a SOLA school to be included, to know that they are important and to acquire and develop the tools, character and values that will enable them to be happy, to contribute, and to thrive throughout their lives.’

You will be based at The Highway Primary School and will be working within a team of friendly and hardworking professionals dedicated to high standards of achievement and creating an innovative learning environment. There is a supportive ethos among the staff. We work as a team and share a clear understanding of what we are aiming to achieve. We are open to new ideas, and prepared to try new things!

The Highway is a one-form entry, recently rebuilt and refurbished co-educational primary with approximately 220 pupils on roll.

We can offer you:

• happy children with a positive attitude to learning;

• hardworking, dedicated colleagues working in a positive, supportive environment;

• supportive governors committed to the success of the school;

• an attractive learning environment in spacious, well maintained grounds;

• opportunities to be challenged and develop professionally.

The successful candidate will be expected to be fully committed to the values, vision, ethos and aims of the Trust and the school s/he will be assigned to. In return, the Trust offers a highly supportive environment with a strong focus on staff wellbeing including an Employee Assistance Programme, available to all staff.
