Teaching and Learning Quality Assurance Leader

Citizens School, an innovative and forward-thinking educational institution in the heart of Dubai, is looking for a dedicated Teaching and Learning Quality Assurance Leader. The successful candidate will play a critical role in constantly developing, improving, and ensuring the quality of teaching and learning at Citizens School, ensuring teaching practices align with our vision, values, and inquiry-based approach to learning, as well as the KHDA framework.

Core Responsibilities:

• Act as a pedagogical coach for mentors, particularly those new to the profession or needing support to meet the Citizens Learning Framework standards.
• Provide one-on-one coaching, feedback, and strategies to improve teaching practice, assessment techniques, and classroom management.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive CPD framework to enhance the instructional skills of mentors at all levels.
• Oversee the quality of teaching and learning through regular lesson observations, providing actionable feedback based on best practice standards.
• Utilize learner performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improving teaching practices.
• Set up and lead the More Able, Gifted, and Talented (MAGT) curriculum offer to ensure learners are challenged and supported to reach their full potential.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Extensive experience in educational leadership and quality assurance roles, with a proven track record in improving teaching and learning outcomes in secondary education.
• Minimum of five years of teaching experience, with a strong understanding of curriculum design, instructional practices, and assessment methodologies.
• Experience in developing and implementing quality assurance frameworks and processes within educational settings.
• Strong organisational, administrative, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusivity and high educational standards.
