We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and committed Teaching Assistant who will work to support our classroom teachers in providing classroom management within mainstream classes and in our Student Support Centre. The successful candidate will work to provide general support to our Special Educational Needs children, promoting access to learning as directed by the classroom teacher.

Salary scales for Guiseley School are part of Leeds City Council’s NJC PayScale’s. Salary information detailed is prorated to reflect the ‘take home’ pay for the successful candidate.

The role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis from February/March 2023.

Guiseley School is an 11-18 fully inclusive school situated in a small town in the City of Leeds in West Yorkshire. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, it is now a suburb of northwest Leeds and close to the stunning Dales. The school is part of a Co-operative Trust established in 2014. The school works jointly with several local schools to promote the welfare and success of the children of Aireborough.
