About the Position
Contract type: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
Salary: Up to £ 26k per annum
Start date: January 2025
This role involves providing support or small group support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment in their learning in order for them to develop academically, creatively, socially and emotionally. You will also be responsible for preparing and organising additional educational materials and resources and encouraging students to actively participate in the class and engage in activities.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant (essential) and support provided on 1-2-1 basis.
- Further qualifications with regard to child protection and/ or SEN.
- An ability to devise and implement a range of strategies to support learning and enjoyment of learning.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- The ability to inspire confidence and become a positive role model.
