Teaching Assistant (Grade 2)

Contract: Maternity cover, 30 hours per week, term time only + 5 days

Working hours: 8.30-3.00pm

Salary: TA2 dependant up on experience

We are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support teaching staff in delivering high-quality education and contribute to the development and well being of our pupils.

The successful candidate will be expected to work Monday to Friday working under the direction of the Senior Leadership Team.

The fixed term contract will cease on the return of the member of staff.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare the classroom for lessons
• Promote, support and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation
• Support class teachers with maintaining good order and discipline among pupils

To be considered for this role you must have:

• GCSE in English and Maths at Grade C or equivalent
• Knowledge and/or experience of the first/primary school curriculum including the EYFS
• A commitment to professionalism and confidentiality
