LEVEL 1-3 TEACHING ASSISTANT

 

Level 1 Teaching Assistant (pay award pending)

Band C, Pt 4 £10.98 per hour,

(i.e. £21,189 fte) which equates to £17,422 pro rata

 

Level 2 Teaching Assistant (pay award pending)

Band D, Pt 5 £11.18 per hour,

(i.e. £21,575 fte) which equates to £17,739 pro rata

Rising to Band D, Pt 6 £11.38 per hour,

(i.e. £21.968 fte) which equates to £18,063 pro rata

 

Level 3 Teaching Assistant (pay award pending)

Band E, Pt 7 £11.59 per hour,

(i.e. £22,369 fte) which equates to £18,392 pro rata

Rising through the spinal points 8, 9 and 10 to Band E, Pt 11 £12.46 per hour,

(i.e. £24,054 fte) which equates to £22,753 pro rata

 

Working 35 hours per week on a term-time only basis:

Monday & Tuesday - 8:15am until 4:00pm

Wednesday & Thursday - 8:20am until 4:00pm

Friday - 8:20am until 3:00pm

 

We are looking to recruit talented individuals who demonstrate a passion and commitment to supporting and improving students’ academic progress. GCSE level qualifications; excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills are essential. Applications are welcomed from Teaching Assistants and suitably qualified Graduates.

Wales High School is a popular and over-subscribed secondary school, located in Kiveton Park, South Yorkshire. The school first opened in 1970 and obtained academy status in 2012. Educating around 1,800 pupils, 300 of whom attend the Sixth Form, our school is forward-thinking, innovative and creative; demands high standards from pupils and staff; and is committed to excellent teaching and learning.
