York High School are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their Inclusion Team, supporting students with special educational needs.

This is an opportunity for a skilled individual to work in a key post that contributes directly to the care of young people at York High School. The successful candidate will share and communicate the values and ethos of the school, possess excellent communication, organisational skills and team work. They will be responsible for the welfare of students and ensure that they follow the school’s Behaviour and Reward Policy.

This is a part time role for 31 hours per week on a term time basis only.

Interviews will be held during the week commencing 9 September 2024

York High is a mixed 11–16 school serving a genuinely comprehensive intake. The last 4 years have seen rapid and sustained change with the school earning a ‘good’ judgement from Ofsted in September 2022.
