Our opportunity 

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant (Level 3) to join our team, working within our integrated resource at the Hinde House Secondary Phase. The resource is a hub for children in Y7-Y11. More information can be found on our website - Hinde House - Integrated Resource . The hub is part of the Brigantia Learning Trust. It goes without saying that we will support you, develop you and above all welcome you into our vibrant school.

The role will involve working under the guidance of teaching and senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning for students and to assist the teacher in the management of students in the classroom as well as implementing work programmes with identified groups or individual students. 

The successful candidate will have the ability to follow planned intervention learning activities and meet the needs of our learners with complex SEND needs, they will have good literacy, numeracy and organisational skills as well as being confident to build excellent relationships with adults and children.

Part of the Brigantia Learning Trust, Hinde House 2-16 Academy is based in the North East of Sheffield. Although the Primary and Secondary Phases are located on separate sites, we pride ourselves on our cross-phase approach to ensure a smooth transition from primary to secondary for our pupils.
