Teaching Assistant/SEN Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship - Oakmere Primary School

We are currently advertising for 2 apprenticeships. The Teaching Assistant/SEN Teaching Assistant Apprentice at Oakmere Primary School supports teachers by assisting with various classroom activities and providing individualized attention to pupils. Key responsibilities include attending to pupils' personal needs (social, health, hygiene, first aid, and welfare), preparing and tidying classrooms, and assisting with the display of pupils' work. The role also involves providing clerical and administrative support (photocopying, typing, filing, collecting money, and record-keeping), supporting pupils' social and emotional well-being, liaising with parents and carers, administering routine tests, and accompanying teachers and pupils on out-of-school activities. Additionally, the apprentice assists with the development of APDR and pupil passport programs. Please see attached documents relevant to each role advertised.
