St Louis Catholic Academy is part of Our Lady of Walsingham Catholic MAT; it is a thriving Catholic School situated near to the centre of Newmarket in Suffolk. Our Catholic Gospel Values are central to how we teach and learn together. We have strong bonds with Our Lady Immaculate & St Etheldreda Parish and the wider community. Children learn independence and care for others from a young age and families work supportively alongside us.

Our reputation as a good school is strong and visitors remark upon our pupil's excellent behaviour. We work together as a community to provide a happy, secure and stimulating environment where children are motivated to learn, are valued as individuals and encouraged to meet their full potential while delivering a quality caring education to our children. Children in our school enjoy a great range of extracurricular opportunities, from forest school and sport to choir and cooking clubs.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work as a class-based Teaching Assistant and to take small intervention groups. This is an opportunity to work with and learn from a team of experienced and accomplished teachers and to develop professionally. If you are interested in working in a school and passionate about allowing children to reach their full potential this may be the opportunity for you. If you think you could make a difference to children’s lives and believe that every child should have the chance to be the very best they can be you might be the right person for us.
