Retford Oaks Academy has an exciting opportunity for Teaching Assistants. We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our supportive team. The successful candidate will be part of a committed and knowledgeable team supporting a wide range of needs within the Academy with a focus on support and intervention for students with English as an additional language. 

Our ideal candidates have:    

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent work experience    
  • Relevant and recent experience of working with young people    
  • A thorough and practical understanding of issues related to improving students’ progress and ensuring equality of opportunity both in and out of the classroom    
  • Commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people.
