Goldthorpe Primary Academy are looking to appoint a Teaching / Care Assistant to join our academy in October 2024 or as soon as possible on a temporary basis until 31 December 2024.

Your new role  

As a Teaching / Care Assistant, you will provide one to one personal support for pupils with additional needs. You will provide special educational and/or medical support to ensure their successful engagement with and access to learning. You will need to maintain professional records and appropriate notes in relation to the individual pupil. 

Hours: 15 hours per week / Term Time only plus 2 days (38 weeks + 2)

Goldthorpe Primary School lies at the heart of the local community. It was located on the previous site since 1903 which means we were there for 113 years! In the summer of 2016 we relocated to our new site and opened our doors in September 2016. There are currently 264 pupils on roll.
