We want to appoint someone who will make a significant contribution to our Technology Department. We are looking for a knowledgeable, skilled and committed teacher with the enthusiasm and self-belief to support our students as we seek to shape them into the knowledgeable and skilled problems solvers, creatives and producers of tomorrow. We are excited about the potential of our department.

We are committed to supporting you to develop your career through a tailored CPD programme and the chance to be released to observe outstanding practice in our school and our collaborative partners.
Our ambitious school is based in the easily accessible market town of Thirsk which lies very close to the A1(M), A19 and mainline rail links, between two beautiful National Parks.

Ofsted report
“Students thrive in the aspirational, friendly, safe and caring atmosphere. As a result, all achieve well and make good progress from their average starting points on entry. From the last inspection until 2011, students’ attainment rose steadily. Most teaching is good and some is outstanding. Such teaching is interesting, intriguing and captivating. In the most effective lessons, teachers’ strong subject knowledge, perceptive questioning and feedback builds students’ knowledge, understanding and skills well. Students behave well, attend regularly and display very good attitudes to learning. They, their parents and staff report positively about behaviour across school.”
