Job overview

As an apprentice theatre technician your primary responsibility will be to support the Theatre Technician and staff in preparing the theatre and all of the school’s facilities for performances or events and maintain equipment for use by staff and students on a day-to-day basis. The post-holder will undertake assigned duties and responsibilities, ensuring that all actions are discharged within the regulatory and legislative requirements to which the College is subject. Additionally, the post holder will support the Theatre Technician and staff in providing support in all of the associated areas of the School and Enterprises 

The apprentice will be required to complete apprenticeship training, coursework and end assessments 

Overall, we welcome applications from candidates who are looking to gain experience in this role and who are passionate about the creative sector, education and supporting student success.
