·        Are you driven and committed to leading students towards success?

If so, we are the school for you!

The Role

We are looking to appoint a Trainee Teaching Assistant who wants to join our experienced, supportive, committed SEND faculty and make a real difference with our young people. The successful candidate will need knowledge of working with students who have social, emotional and mental health needs. The ability to work both independently and as part of a large team is essential. Excellent communication skills and ICT skills are desirable. This role further enhances our provision and will involve providing bespoke provision for the students in the mainstream school.

The faculty is well-established, well-resourced, and highly supportive. Led by a full-time SENDCO and supported by a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the faculty work collaboratively, always putting the needs of our students at the forefront of what we do. We have spacious and equipped rooms within the SEND department and work to support our students across the rest of the school. We would love to show you round our department and our academy. This role offers you the opportunity to develop and excel as an individual, within a strong and effective team of practitioners. We understand that working collaboratively not only improves outcomes, but also reduces workload.

We offer:

·        Salary commensurate to your experience

·        A strong and ongoing CPD program

·        Opportunities for career development and progression

·        Use of the onsite gym

·        A Senior Team that are keen to drive school improvement and are open to innovation and creative thinking

·        A strong commitment to staff wellbeing
