Location: Paignton, Devon

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the College as a Trainer Facilitator – Reengagement to deliver learning on Re-engagement programmes for 14-19 year old learners. You will deliver maths & English skills, personal and social development, employability skills and facilitate vocational tasters.

 

You will be instructing/facilitating and assessing learning for students as assigned by the Curriculum Head, contributing to curriculum development and implementation, assisting in the implementation of pastoral and welfare systems provided for students and continuing personal development in the areas of both subject knowledge and teaching/instructing methods.  

 

The successful candidate should hold relevant teaching/training qualifications in employability, personal and social development or function skills. Or if not already held, you must be willing to attain a teaching qualification within the College’s specified timescale.

 

You must have experience of working with challenging young people or NEETs, or experience of teaching/tutoring groups and 1:1.
