The Role

Northampton Free School Trust is seeking to appoint an strong Administrator to join our Trust Team working 37 hours a week, term time. The opportunity is exciting as our Trust is in a growth phase. The role will support the Trust Leadership Team with all administration including Admissions, GDPR requests, Governance.

Wootton Park School opened with less than 20 staff in 2016 and now employs 200+. With growth, we are proud to have developed policies and procedures that support the School and Trust to run effectively and support both staffing strategy and wellbeing.

We look forward to further developing our people strategy as the Trust opens it's second School, Overstone Park Primary in September 2025.

In July 2019 we received our first Ofsted inspection and were judged to be outstanding in every category. Inspectors noted that “The quality of teaching, learning and assessment is of a consistently high quality” and that “Achievement is outstanding in the early years and at key stages 1 and 3""Staff morale is exceptionally high" Ofsted 2019.

Scheduled to open with 30 Reception learners in September 2025 at a state-of-the-art sustainable new build located just off the A43 bypass, the school will grow by adding a Reception intake each year in line with housing growth and increased demand until reaching full capacity as a two-form entry with 420 learners aged 4-11 year. 

Our school will be a new non-selective, state-funded free school based on the highly successful model established by the Trust’s Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ all-through (4-19) Wootton Park School.  It will offer a rigorous, broad and balanced, knowledge-rich curriculum that has a clear purpose and is focused around excitement and love for learning, and a longer school day with a wide range of extracurricular enrichment activities.

This is an exciting time for the Trust as we realise our ambition to build on our existing all-through free school, Wootton Park School, to create an organisation of outstanding schools in Northampton and the surrounding areas, delivering strong academic achievement, developing strong values and promoting citizenship, community and service.
