Job overview
The Trust Board Directors are responsible for the Trust’s financial performance. They are looking for someone with senior-level experience reviewing company budgets and accounts to join the board and play a key role on the Finance and Premises Committee. Some experience in estates management or health and safety would also be extremely useful. The role requires the following time commitment during school term time:
- Attending six board meetings plus six finance committee meetings each academic year (most meetings are held at the schools on a Wednesday evening between 6-8pm)
- Reviewing paperwork before each meeting including reports from the CEO, management accounts, draft policies, proposed business cases and other items
- Completing induction training on appointment and annual training when required (current mandatory courses include safeguarding and cyber security).
The role is unpaid but in return we can promise:
