This is an exciting opportunity to join our exceptional Art Department. We are looking for a suitably qualified person to support the UAL Level 4 Foundation Art Diploma. This highly successful full time art course is in its 13th year. The department also offers a range of A Level Art disciplines from Fine Art to Graphics, Textiles, Photography, Moving Image and Product Design.

You will be an art practitioner who is self-motivated and understands the nature of busy art studios. You will have experience of displaying work and be confident to work with both 2D and 3D materials and equipment. You will have very competent IT skills and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Google documents and Excel as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The successful candidate must be hard-working, enthusiastic, patient, flexible and willing to learn. You will be expected to work on your own initiative and also as part of the larger team.

The successful candidate must be confident to deliver workshops to groups of students on the following: Printmaking, including silk screen printing and linocut: Ceramics, Sewing machine inductions, Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe Premiere inductions, Installation and display of artwork.

You would be joining us at a very exciting time as the Art Department moves into a new bespoke £9.5 K building. The FAD course will benefit from a large open plan studio housing 65 students, a purpose built print room, ceramics room and digital suite.
