Unqualified Teacher for Biology and/or ICT

We are seeking qualified and unqualified staff for the delivery of Entry Level and GCSE Biology and/or ICT at our main school site in Shipley Bridge.

Subjects are delivered in small groups with a maximum of 8 students per class. A calm, inclusive and empathic nature, with a sound understanding of how internal and external factors can influence pupils’ behaviour, conduct and/or attainment is essential. All students have a diagnosis of social, emotional and mental health needs, with many also having additional diagnosis or characteristic of ADHD and other Autistic Spectrum Conditions. 

Working as part of a professional and committed team of Tutors, you will have the following responsibilities to ensure every students reaches their full potential:

• To make the safeguarding of all pupils a primary concern
• To teach pupils in a way that ensures every pupil experiences a high quality inclusive school experience in line with Burstow Park School policies and protocols. 
• To act with honesty and integrity at all times
• To impart a good level of subject knowledge through the use of high quality pedagogical practices, which are kept up to date through self-reflection and a commitment to continued professional development.
