Violin Teacher

Chepstow House School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic peripatetic Violin teacher to join our music department in January 2025.  

Chepstow House School is an established 3 form entry, Coed Prep with a nursery attached and outstanding facilities within the Notting Hill Gate area. It is a growing school offering opportunities for staff development and career progression.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This post will have a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:  

• To plan individual lessons
• To train pupils for roles or auditions
• To assist students to get ready for exams
• To prepare students for school concerts and planned music experiences
• To build positive relationships and mentor students

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A bachelor’s degree in music
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Previous experience in teaching violin
