Location: East London

Hours: 36 hours per week, 40 weeks per year, Term-time only

Salary range: £27,904 - £30,345 per annum

The role is to provide Safeguarding, general welfare and well-being information, guidance and support to learners to enable them to overcome barriers to learning.


You will have a current Designated Safeguarding Lead Training (Level 3) qualification, withe experience of working with students in a further or higher education setting, or working with young adults in another relevant setting (such as a charity, healthcare, mental health, or a counselling/therapeutic setting).You will have experience of working within relevant professional protocols and policies, including safeguarding, data protection and confidentiality. You will be able to work effectively with College staff and external agencies to ensure that timely and appropriate interventions are made to support learners, improve learning outcomes and enhance College contribution to national learning targets.
