Job overview
KS2/3/KS4 Modern Foreign Languages Teacher
Durham School Dubai opened in August 2022 with pupils from Foundation Stage to Year 8. The school added Year 9 at the start of this academic year and will extend to accommodate Year 10 from August 2024. Continued growth is confidently expected with the Senior School eventually extending to offer A Levels in the sixth form.
In August 2024, our first Year 10 pupils will begin their IGCSE programme. We are therefore seeking an outstanding and talented MFL teacher to join our developing languages department. The successful candidate will be required to teach languages across the school age range but must have experience teaching French and/or Spanish to GCSE level.
To join Durham School Dubai at this exciting stage is a unique, challenging and rewarding opportunity. It requires enthusiasm, commitment and considerable flexibility. The successful candidate will be required to take up the position in Dubai in mid August 2024.
We believe it is the people that make Durham School special. Our staff are our greatest assest. All are excellent colleagues and team players who are understanding and supportive of one another. They are skilled practitioners, each with a passion for education and a ‘can do’ mindset. Our teachers love their subject and have a burning desire to enthuse the students they teach.
