Woodwind Teacher (single reeds and flute)

We are looking to appoint an inspiring, enthusiastic and committed woodwind teacher to our vibrant Music Department, to teach flute, saxophone and clarinet. The right candidate will teach woodwind instruments here during the school day, which runs from 8.00am-4.00pm, and rehearse a small, 30 minute windband each week.

Chandlings Prep is a busy school, so we are looking for someone who is flexible and efficient, an excellent time-keeper, who is good with technology, and able to use their initiative to respond to the school’s needs. The successful candidate should be able to keep on-top of all weekly administration, and stay in touch via email.

One-to-one lessons are 30 minutes and offered to pupils from Years 1 to 6. The right candidate will prepare pupils for exams and concerts.

Applicants must hold a relevant musical qualification as a minimum requirement. Relevant experience of working in a similar environment is desirable but not essential.
