Oare CofE Primary School run a rich and varied programme of clubs. Some are run by staff, others are run by parent volunteers and we also have a number of qualified coaches who run some of our sports clubs.
We are currently looking for a Part Time Wrap around Care Worker on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent.
Start Date; ASAP
The following hours are available, we would consider splitting these to suit the successful candidate/s.
Hours Monday - Friday 8.00am - 8.45am & 15.15pm - 17.15pm Term time only
Salary SCP 2 £9.60 per hour Annual Salary up to £5753.59 dependant on hours worked.
We are looking for an enthusiastic member of staff who is able to support and look after children in a safe, secure, and fun environment.
- Main Duties will include;
- To provide a range of stimulating and creative activities
- Setting up activities ready for the start of wraparound care and tidying away afterwards
- Some movement of chairs and tables maybe necessary
- To care for children, offering an appropriate level of support and guidance
- To advise the Principal of any concerns e.g. over children, child protection, parents/carers or the safety of equipment
- To keep confidential any information regarding the children, their families or other staff
- To prepare and serve breakfast as appropriate
- To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Principal
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children is preferable
- The successful applicant will undergo safeguarding training and an enhanced DBS
