The West Yorkshire Consortium of Colleges (WYCC) is a partnership between the seven Further Education Colleges in West Yorkshire. In 2016, the 7 colleges developed a new Joint Venture that unites the region’s further education sector to work together to help improve the skills of the local workforce and ultimately improve productivity across the Leeds City Region. As a result, the WYCC is now seeking experienced individuals to join its team in delivering a number of skills projects across Leeds City Region funded through the European Strategic Investment Fund. The funding will deliver a number of three year projects designed to improve the skills levels of individuals working together with partners and stakeholders to fulfil the region’s skills priorities.
Location: Leeds
Post is part funded by the European Social Fund and fixed term until 30th September 2019.
Part Time 0.6 FTE (22.2 hours per week)
The successful individual will be responsible for the continued design, delivery and implementation of the processes required to manage the WYCC’s supply chain for the purposes of delivering the ESIF projects. To have a clear focus on the quality of supply chain and contract management by aligning strategy, people and processes to support the successful delivery the project. The role will be pivotal in developing and maintaining strong relationships with providers/partners to ensure all aspects of contract management and supply chain are managed effectively to ensure the maximum performance of the project.
