How to change your account’s default data display preference

This guide will explain how to change your account’s default data display preference.

If your school administrator has allowed teachers to do so, you can choose which information is displayed for each pupil when a class is started.

To change the default data display preference for your Class Charts account, click on the three lines menu in the top right hand corner of the page and select Account settings from the list of available options.

Next, select the default display option that you would like to use from the Default data display preference in class drop down menu. The available display options are explained below:

Show everything

Selecting this option will display custom fields and behaviour scores on each pupil card.

Hide custom fields

Selecting this option will hide custom fields for each pupil card when starting a class. If you click on the eye icon in the top right hand corner of the class view to change the displayed data, custom fields will reappear without warning.

Hide custom fields (with warning)

Selecting this option will hide the custom fields for each pupil card when starting a class. If you click on the eye icon in the top right hand corner of the class view to change the displayed data, the popup warning below will appear before further pupil data is shown.

Selecting this option will hide the custom fields and behaviour scores for each pupil card when starting a class. If you click on the eye icon in the top right hand corner of the class view to change the displayed data, custom fields and behaviour scores will appear without warning.

This option will hide the custom fields and behaviour scores for each pupil card by default. If you click on the eye icon in the top right hand corner of the class view to change the displayed data, the popup warning below will appear before further pupil data is shown.
