How to refer a wellbeing submission to another member of staff

This guide will explain how to refer a wellbeing submission to another member of staff.

Once wellbeing submissions have been created in your school, they can be referred to other members of staff that have been granted the Wellbeing permission.

There are two main methods for referring wellbeing submissions in Class Charts, both of which are explained below:

Referring a wellbeing submission in class

To refer a wellbeing submission in class, click on the Classes tab along the top of the page and click on the Start class button for the class of your choice.

You will be presented with the class view page for your selected lesson, where pupils are displayed in their current seats.

The pupil sidebar will appear. Click on the Wellbeing tab.

Next, click on the Show history button below the five faces.

A popup confirmation will appear. Click on the OK button to continue.

The pupil’s wellbeing submissions history will now be displayed in the wellbeing tab. To refer a wellbeing submission, click on the person icon for the wellbeing submission of your choice.

The Refer wellbeing incident popup will appear, containing a list of all staff members with the Wellbeing permission.

Tick the staff members that you would like to share the wellbeing submission with and click on the Refer wellbeing incident button.

The wellbeing submission will then be sent to the selected members of staff.

Referring a wellbeing submission through the activity feed

To refer a wellbeing submission through the activity feed, click on the Activity tab along the top of the page.

Next, filter the activity feed to the pupil of your choice and Wellbeing only.

You will be presented with the selected pupil’s wellbeing submissions. Click on the wellbeing submission that you would like to share with other members of staff.

The wellbeing submission will be expanded to display more detail. Click on the Refer wellbeing button to continue.

The Refer wellbeing incident popup will appear, containing a list of all staff members with the Wellbeing permission.

Tick the staff members that you would like to share the wellbeing submission with and click on the Refer wellbeing incident button.

The wellbeing submission will then be sent to the selected members of staff.

Viewing referred wellbeing submissions

To view wellbeing submissions that have been referred to you, click on the bell icon in the top right hand corner of the page.

Referred behaviours, detentions and wellbeing incidents will be displayed in chronological order.

Click on the orange arrow to expand the notification and display further detail about the wellbeing submission.

Staff members that have had a wellbeing submission referred with them will also receive an email notification of the referral.
