* Perhaps Pleckgate head Robin Campbell should spend less time on the phone to the Foreign Office and more time consulting students, parents and teachers (“Condi visit creates a stir”, TES, April 7). Then he might reconsider his view that a campaign by anti-war protesters deploying leaflets is “disgusting” while Condoleezza Rice’s military campaign deploying invasion, torture and white phosphorus is, presumably, a lesson in citizenship.
