New from Our Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh this term is Wild Weather, a look at how climate change affects us all. This new programme offers a chance to get out of the rain and find out why hurricanes are now more violent, summers wetter and floods more frequent. UK and world weather phenomena are covered, as is the question: “Is our climate really changing?” Pupils learn how weather forecasting can predict climatic disasters and are given tips on how to draw up their own weather maps.
