(Photograph) - Pupils from Coatbridge High School modelled their extraordinary creations last week at a Lanarkshire schools exhibition of Hats, Coats and Costumes, which runs at the Museum of Education, Scotland Street School, Glasgow (tel: 0141 429 1202) until November 3. Recycling the most unlikely scrap materials, from crisp packets and sweetie papers to seashells and fake seaweed, pupils of all ages from six secondary schools worked together on a joint textiles project which culminated in a fashion show in June. The other exhibitors are Calderhead, Carluke, Hunter and Taylor high schools and Larkhall Academy.
