“Hail Mary full of grace, help us find a parking space” is one Glasgow family’s approach to the problems of traffic congestion on their regular Saturday trips to the St Enoch Centre, accompanied by their four-year-old.
Brendan recently started primary 1. When his mother asked the inevitable “how did you get on?”, he said school was great and the class had been saying Hail Marys. When she asked with bated breath what he had said, he looked surprised but replied: “I said what I always say but the rest of the class got it wrong.”
