I was disappointed to see TESS re-selling a Daily Mail slant as news - “Gay storytelling for children aged five” (Press Catch-up, 17 February).
The Scottish Storytelling Centre did not organise a “gay and transgender” workshop for children aged 5-8; we hosted a story-sharing for children about different experiences of parenting. This formed part of LGBT History Month.
So the assessment reads - full marks for copying; accuracy and understanding zero. However, as a long-term believer in the values of Scottish education, I am sticking with inclusion, and TESS.
