Scope, the national disability organisation for people with cerebral palsy, is holding a one-day conference at the Paragon Hotel, London, on Tuesday, July 2, to prepare educationists for the effects of the Special Educational Needs and Disability Act 2001 which comes into effect this September.
Speakers include Cathy Ashton, minister for early years, Doug McAvoy, general secretary of the National Union of Teachers, and Ade Adepitan, the paralympian and TV presenter.
