This is aimed at students in their second year of Spanish and we use it following Mira 2 Unidad La Gente. We also use it as a listening assessment but it can be used as a basic interpreting activity.<br /> Students find it a practical idea and enjoy completing it as it ties in with preset ideas on how they would likely use the language in the future! Also it is a rigorous test of how precisely students know the language. <br /> It comes complete with instructions for use and peer assessment sheets as it would be too time consuming for an individual teacher to assess and listen to in large classes.

This is aimed at students who have just started learning clothes with descriptions in Spanish. It is a reading and writing exercise in which students are directed to a website where they have to dress celebrities. The resource starts with reading comprehension. The last two exercises ask them to choose the celebrities outfit, and then write what they have put them in. <br /> Prior teaching of clothes items is necessary, as well as accessories and something there is specialised vocabulary such as sleeveless. Computer Access is essential to complete this work.
