This is a scheme I did with a low ability Year 8 group. We worked from booklets with each of the stories listed in it and the boys LOVED writing their own gothic stories :)

A resource pack based around an old AQA style question for 'The Crucible' This gives key quotes for important moments in the play revolving around Proctor and what happens to him. The resource is made for a high achieving Year 9 group. <br /> I would really appreciate feedback on this resource if you download it.

This is a booklet I created for lower ability Year 11 pupils. It takes you through most of the novel, looking at character and themes in preparation for the Edexcel Understanding Prose examination. A short murder mystery task that will hopefully keep pupils attention. It has a focus on language and word choices and is leading towards a descriptive piece of writing. The focus is on attention to detail and the importance of word choices. I taught this as a SoW last year and have now condensed it into a booklet form.

Understanding poetry exam preparation, perhaps a little inconsistent in design but has done the trick for my pupils!
