Created for a year 5 class with wide ranging abilities. Contains everything you need for two days of work on addition and subtraction and using rounding to check accuracy. There are starter activities for both days and for independent work there are questions displayed on the PowerPoint differentiated to three levels of ability. Includes recap of how to do subtraction column method including exchanging with zeroes. There is a worksheet of addition word problems and a worksheet of subtraction word problems which can be used as an extension.

Created for a year 5/6 class with very wide ranging abilities. The PowerPoint assesses children's abilities at three difficulty levels and teaches how to find common denominators for the purpose of ordering fractions. The one star worksheet is for children who are not yet at the stage of being able to change fractions to equivalents, and has simple fractions with the same denominator to order. Depending on their success at the one star, two star and three star activities in the <br /> PowerPoint, children choose the corresponding worksheet.
