A differentiated solving equations worksheet I created for my year 8s. Starts for the very weak students with examples such as 3x = 27, up to worded questions in the extension.
I teach mostly the lowest ability students so I am creating resources that concentrate on the areas where they are likely to pick up marks whilst also avoiding the topics that are going to scare them.
However this could be used as a starter or time filler for stronger foundation students.
This is a revision tarsia that I created for my bottom set year 11s. It contains facts about the properties of triangles, angle sums and a couple of missing angle questions.
Took my group the whole lesson but could be used as a filler activity or main activity.
This is a pretty basic sheet, but I created it for my low ability year 9s who were struggling to add fractions with different denominators.
Questions slowly provide less and less hints as they go along.
Trying to encourage my top set year 7s to choose the harder questions so I adapted a resource to create these. Includes a couple problem solving extension questions.
