New AQA Ecology Specification- Communities, Abiotic and Biotic Factors- Powerpoint and Worksheets
This resource is a PowerPoint presentation and worksheets that covers the Communities (4.7.1.1), Abiotic factors (4.7.1.2), and Biotic factors (4.7.1.3), information on the 2016 AQA Ecology specification.<br />

Since there are lots of activities, I spent two lessons going through this PowerPoint with my class, however, you could just miss some out to condense it all into one lesson if you choose.<br />

The basic structure of the lesson is as follows:<br />

8) Describe and draw conclusions from the predator-prey graph activity.<br />
9) Which resources animals and plants compete for activity.<br />
10) Interdependence information and pictures.<br />
11) Quiz, Quiz Trade- question/answer game.<br />
12) A slide with the relevant page numbers and questions from the AQA Text Book.<br />
13) Plenary- Guess the resource from the pictures.<br />
14) Plenary Triangle Activity.<br />
