<p>Project based on Dynamo 3 Rouge pages 108/109 “Visite à un pays francophone”.<br /> Students follow a step by step worksheet to produce a poster about le Québec, Madagascar or l’île Maurice comprising some historical, cultural and geographical details and a description of a tour with different activities they will research whilst completing the worksheet.<br /> Students work in pairs and they can use the vocabulary from module 5 for support.<br /> The answers for the first 3 activities are on the PowerPoint presentation.<br /> The worksheet contains links to touristic websites the students can access for their research.</p>

<p>Reading for teaching of jobs and places of work, revising family members and tenses.<br /> Olivier describes his family and friends’ jobs, places of work and their previous or dream jobs. Students have to find the information in the text and fill the table in English. Not all will have a current, a previous and a dream job.<br /> Some dictionary work can be completed ahead of or during the task.<br /> Different tenses and time phrases could be researched before hand to support foundation students.<br /> Students were given the AQA GCSE Studio Higher vocabulary for support (pages 158/159).<br /> This task can lead to the production of a similar writing by the students.</p>

<p>Work to support the study of the film “Sur le chemind de l’école”.</p> <ol> <li>Homework to complete before the viewing of the film in class with the research on one of the countries</li> <li>Worksheet to use before, during and after the viewing of the film - answers of the first part are on the PowerPoint presentation. Students will summarize the trip to school for each protagonist and then concentrate on the one who lives in the country they researched in their homework</li> <li>Homework or classwork worksheet to use the comparative and opinions about the protagonists’ lives.</li> </ol>

<p>The aim is to give students a indication of which topic or type of tasks they need to revise and/or practice.<br /> The teacher can back this up by having an overview of the questions badly answered quickly.<br /> Lots of information is provided such as the tier of the question (F - H - overlap); the questions to answer in French which are in a different colour and the grade boundaries. For the reading, the solution of the translation is also provided.</p>
