World Cup DAFOREST techniques

(0)

A very engaging resource to help students understand and apply the DAFOREST techniques. Really useful for GCSE Language Paper 2B and any persuasive writing.
Document has the technique and definition correctly matched, then examples from current World Cup headlines jumbled up for students to match up. There is then a column for students to create their own.
I’ve used this with both top and bottom set and it’s accessible for both.

Preview shows the first two lines, the following page has the rest complete. Answers on page 3.

Romeo and Juliet - plot sequence dominoes using film stills

(0)

A detailed plot sequencing task. Uses stills from the 1996 Baz Luhrmann film version. A brief summary of each scene or key moment (some scenes broken up into significant events e.g. A3S5) is on the left of each card, and the next scene’s film still is on the right. Students connect the ‘dominoes’ in pairs or small groups.
Ideal for lower ability initial whole-play teaching, or final GCSE revision.

Includes:
PPT in the correct order for when you want to check the work of your students. I printed this version 2 slides to a page and got each slide cut out and laminated to use again.
PPt has class instructions and a few extension activities at the end.
Word version that you can print if you want a smaller copy for books etc.
Could be used for a display even.
Key plot words are in bold.

Took ages to make hence the price- I hope this saves people time and is useful :)
