Differentiated ALPS lesson requiring pupils to consider the evidence for and against climate change. Original undifferentiated slides containing the evidence are included in the lesson plan. Differentiated slides are just simplified versions of the originals.

<p>Differentiated lessons with stretch tasks designed around the game “would you rather” in which pupils independently research 3 different methods of gas exchange (Gills, Spiricles, Amphibian system) and create an argument to support one they would rather use. Its a bit of fun for an otherwise boring topic. My year 8’s loved it. Differentiated worksheet for lower ability. Research information sheets included in the powerpoint.</p>

Schultze solution is required and whilst it can be ordered online, its actually pretty straight forward to make using online CLEAPSS recipe. Quite a lot of work for one lesson, you may want to spread it over 2. Leads to a nice discussion on the role of carbohydrates in plants.
