They are all scrambled up so students need to unscramble the text, identify the key marking points and then turn the text into a suitable picture/diagram/equation. The idea is then they can use the picture/diagram/equation to try to recall the text as a revision activity.

This resource contains little 5 minute activities for students to do as part of their Chemistry revision. It has been made using the Edexcel iGCSE Chemistry specification and all activities are chunked into the main topic areas: Principals of Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. A suggested way to use the resource is to ask students to complete the activity and then colour code the task red, amber, green based on their confidence. This PowerPoint contains a selection of choice tasks for students to complete. Simply copy a slide into your own PowerPoint and adapt it so it fits in with your lesson. I have found pupils really appreciate having choice and generally they are good at picking tasks which match their own level.
