This is a unit of work for senior literature students. It encourages them to look at the sociohistoric context of the novel's production and Hemingway's style, as well as the characters, events and symbolism of the novel itself. Includes wider reading, comprehension / textual analysis and creative tasks (poetry composition, drama, etc) as well as a list of proposed essay titles. Used successfully with an A2 class (lots of As and A*s!)
