Design an Olympic village

This is part of a cross curricular topic on the Olympics. Children research what athletes and spectators need in an Olympic Park and Village. They choose which to design and map it out, using the budget they are given. They can they create and advertising campaign to attract visitors. You could extend it with income for how many visitors they attract and costs for runing the park, to then calculate profit and loss. Hopefully They will then build their villages/parks in DT.
