Brazil Independent Research Project. 3-5 week project for Key Stage 3 pupils.
This project allows pupils to choose their own research direction around Brazil. There are around 20 specific tasks/research areas for pupils to complete, with options for further research.
The tasks vary in difficulty and length, with students completing the tasks which interest them so long as they complete at least 70 'points' worth of tasks in total.
The project works well alongside the "‘New Places’ Textbook" - but is not essential.
Globalisation research and whole class debate project. 2 -3 week project.
Introduces Globalisation topic and provides opportunities for pupils to research both sides of the "Globalisation Good or Bad?" debate. The debate works well as a whole class structured debate, with strong arguments for both sides.
