Edexcel GCSE History 9-1 Crime and Punishment Review 'pub quiz'

(1)

I created this revision activity for my students to complete on the first day back at school. It follows the format of a ‘pub quiz’ and will have the students working in groups to try and remind themselves of what we discussed last year.

The topics involved in the questions created are mainly from Medieval England (1000-1500) and the beginning of 1500-1700 (mainly Tudor rule)

Questions can be modified or changed to suit your class. The topic of the quiz provided are:

Vocabulary

On Trial! (all about trial by ordeal)

Norman Changes

Kings and Queens (Mainly Tudor)

Changing Crime

Quiz is designed to take about 35 minutes in lesson but that could be condensed or extended to suit your group!
